New piston rings and shells! Should hopefully get my rebuild under way soon, getting a spare bottom end off Wardy to rebuild. So dropping 'box off at Jon's to get the diff fitted and while i'm there rebuild the bottom end. Then its back to ShawSpeed when the 'box is done and drop everything out and get it all rebuilt with new gearbox on and back in the car! All before Ford Fair!

Still got coilovers to fit and bottom arms, then it all needs setting up.

Might get some more paint in the interior if Tom has any time :wub:

Yep RST diff Bought it off rutty. It is indeed going in the FRP 'box.

So my LSD 'box will be up for grabs if you know anyone that wants one. £250.

so, whats the main benefits from frp compared to zs box

Shot peened 1st and 2nd gears, and different ratios. I believe 1st and 2nd are slightly longer but others are shorter. So should make more use of my power. I'll get some figures up to what speed i should be doing in what gear.

Purchased a ShawSpeed ported head too. It's been ported, big exhaust valves, and the spring seats reworked I believe. Should be good to see another 5-10bhp. I am also putting down a deposit for a set of 40mm DTH Jenveys!

Just need to pay for it all and then save for omex and mapping and im good to go.

Rebuild is still going ahead, with the new head and a spare bottom end thanks to Wardy. Jon has also told me some very interesting info to get me to 200bhp too. Maybe one for the future!

Head is half price of what it costs new i believe and the Jenveys are cheap too to say they are brand new. I just need a few quite months to save, and shift my stuff i have for sale.

This is going to be mint when its finally finished. Quite beastly to say the least lol.

When are the coilies going on?

Coilovers are going on Saturday due to me selling them and the lad wanting them fitted on Saturday. Just cost me £70 in parts for new top mounts and bearings

I was hoping to have the engine built up and fitted for Ford Fair. Time will tell I suppose.

Gearbox is now built with LSD. Just waiting for me to go to ShawSpeed to fit it.

Right first up after a discussion with Jon about injector choice. I have bought some Vauxhall XE Beige injectors for... £19.99





Then of course some more impluse buys came along lol

I have bought some BRAND NEW Brembo's off ebay for £160 delivered. Going to keep them to one side I think until I have enough money for bells and rotors.

Also purchased a pipercross PX600 air filter yesterday for my bodies. Got that at a good price too brand new.

Seats have just been sold too which now means I can pay off all my Jenveys

Next on the list is Omex 600 then it can all be fitted and mapped. I CANNOT wait!!

So thats the 3rd time theyve been sold now lol. Hope they go mate
